Leisure Activities 2019

What another busy year we have had, not only with our usual events of Ten Pin Bowling, Whist Lunch, Quiz (where we had a record number of teams), Petanque, and the Summer Walk finishing with a Pub Lunch. We also held a Saturday afternoon Band Concert enjoyed by an unexpected amount of people, not just members, which was really nice to see.

To conclude the year we had our Carol Concert with our own WI Federation Choir and their amazing musical director Janice Loose, along with the children from Kinderley School, Tydd St Giles. Even though there was no heating in the Church or the Hall, this was the crowning glory to our wonderful year.

At the start of this year we held a Try it Crib, which proved to be very popular at the new venue. Several new faces joined us, which is always nice as we know that we are reaching more of our members.

We are now in the process of putting on more interesting events for you all but also have some new ideas to encourage you all to have a go at something new.

I would like to thank the committee for all their hard work throughout the year as by working as a team we can provide you with a variety of events.
